About The Program

Morning Group

An Advent adventure using the practices of St Ignatius is a wonderful way to prepare your heart for Christmas. This 7-week journey is about learning to integrate some of these new and old prayer practices. Grow your intimacy with the Triune God of your understanding through daily contemplative action and group sharing.

We will meet 4 times over 7 weeks: Tuesday November 4th and 18th, December 2nd and 16th from 10 am-noon.

Evening Group

This season of shortening days and lengthening nights is ripe for reflection. Please join me and a few other travellers on a journey inward. Bring  as much of yourself as you can to as much of a God as you can understand and let that be enough. We will explore and try on some ancient prayer and contemplative practices as set out by St Ignatius.

We will meet 4 times over 7 weeks: Tuesday November 4th and 18th, December 2nd and 16th from 6:30-8:30 pm.

Amy Campbell

Instructor

Amy received spiritual direction beginning in her teens, with a focus on Ignatian Spirituality. In early adulthood, after college at St. Benedict and the University of Minnesota, she lived and worked alongside the Cenacle Sisters at a retreat house in Ireland. Amy worked as a youth minister at the Church of St. Patrick of Edina and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Community. Through the years she also gained experience as a personal trainer, gym owner and image consultant.

Amy completed training in spiritual direction through Christos. She has additionally been formed by decades long participation in Al-Anon, centering prayer, and T’ai Chi Chih. She is grateful for early influences of Young Life, the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, and the study of Native American spirituality.

Amy and her husband, Bill, raised four children and have two granddaughters. Amy loves to be in nature, travel, and downhill ski with her family.
